2.     Now you feel comfortable with everything about the item, place your order.
3.     Once you have purchased the item, we will start the shipping process. Please allow 2 - 10 weeks for processing before the item is shipped.
4.     Once the item is picked up, we will mark the item as shipped and then also give you an ETA. There is no tracking.
5.     Once you receive the item and you are happy, please feel free to help us by giving us a positive feedback.
6.     If you are not happy in anyway, please contact us within 48 hours so we can resolve any issues.
Please note, the flat rate shipping is our price to our customers. Actual shipping costs are generally more than this so in the case that your order needs to be returned the return shipping will likely be more. **

We take the piece through an extremely close inspection, like with most items of this age there is a high likelihood that at some point over their lifetime some parts have been replaced or repaired, these items include things like (But Not Limited to) hardware, wood, legs, finish, joints, brackets, staples, glue and color
We also have to disclose that our photos are taken in studio lighting so may look slightly different in natural or different lighting conditions.
We are very willing to send you extra photos if you are concerned about color.
Colors can vary - items of the same make and line can be different shades and grains.

All items are sold AS IS, with no warranty or guarantee. Mod Century Village takes every precaution to bring quality merchandise to you. We disclose every known defect about an item on the listing. Many items that are this old may have had some repair or refinishing work at some point in the past, we cannot know when this may or may not have happened- Please expect this as part of the age of the piece. Some items also may have had some replacement handles or pulls added over the life of the item, again we cannot know when if or when this has happened.

Domestic Shipping
Shipping is by freight to the lower 48 to ensure a smooth and easy transaction.  Our shipping service includes a blanket wrapped service, into your home with full insurance and tracking.
Due to the nature of Freight shipping please allow up to 3 weeks after your purchase date for your item to be picked up. Shipping can then take up to 5 weeks depending on your location. Most orders are shipped before 3 weeks.
Please note: There may be surcharges for certain areas, for example high rises, areas with high tolls, remote locations etc.
Transit times
Freight shipping takes anywhere from 2-10 weeks (Average) to arrive. (There maybe circumstances where this is extended like Holidays or bad weather etc.) Faster shipping may be available but at a greater cost. If your item is on one of our international containers there will be an added time-frame which will be disclosed to you on the listing, these extra shipping times may be extended for 6-8 extra weeks over the standard shipping time- Please contact us for more details. Unless specified most carriers bring the item curbside.  This means the carrier will deliver the item to your address, but will not carry the item inside or up to higher floor on elevators or stairs, if you need this service, please let us know in advance and we can make sure its requested.
International Shipping
We do provide international shipping by either Sea or Air. Please contact us with your zip or postal code so we can get a shipping quote for you.
Return policy
All sales are final.  We do not accept returns unless damage during shipping has occurred that cannot be repaired.
Because of the nature of our pieces and their age, not grant returns or exchanges. We make no exceptions to this, this includes in person sales, online sales, and telephone orders.
