Bauhaus: Zeitschrift fur Gestaltung
Issue 2/3, Year 2
Published by the Bauhaus Dessau in 1928
This issue edited by Hannes Meyer
Magazine editor in chief Ernst Kállai
First Edition
Quarto
36 pp.
Original photo-illustrated wrappers
An original Bauhaus magazine published at the Bauhaus in Dessau in 1928. The
striking example was edited by Hannes Meyer and features contributions from
Meyer, Wassily Kandinsky, Mart Stam, Josef Albers, Joost Schmidt, Oskar
Schlemmer and Adolf Behne among others.
The condition is good to very good for age and rarity. As you would expect it
is a little fragile and there is light wear and toning as shown in the
photographs. As you can also see, at some point it has been fixed within a card
binder, which has no doubt contributed to its uncommonly good condition.
Don't miss this opportunity to own a museum quality piece of design history.
Except where stated text and photographs are Room 606 2014-18. All

IMPORTANT There are many more items in my shop that don't appear in regular
item searches. So please click my My Stores Logo icon and browse the category
menu on the left.
NEW! Now you can sign up for a regular e-mail bulletin detailing my latest
finds and offers by adding me to your list of favourite sellers. The e-mail is
free, eBay system generated (so your e-mail address remains private) and you
can unsubscribe at any time.
Payment and Postage
Paypal is accepted. UK buyers only may also pay by cheque or postal order. If
it's a cheque, please allow 7 to 10 days for it to clear. In exceptional
circumstances it may be possible to pay by other means such as bank transfer by
arrangement.
Non-payment
All non-paying bidders are, without exception, reported to eBay. This is not
for the sake of being vindictive, but because eBay charges retrospective fees
calculated on the actual sale price of items and this money needs to be
retrieved. It's hard enough to make ends meet on here as it is! Thank you for
your understanding. Please refer to eBay's policy on non-payment for more
information, including its ramifications for the bidder.
Condition of items
Please note that, unless clearly stated otherwise, my listings are for
vintage/antique items and therefore, by definition, are not going to be in the
same condition you would expect from a brand new item. Please be assured that I
always endeavour to offer the most accurate description possible of the item's
condition and take multiple illustrative photographs.
Vintage electrical items
Unless clearly stated otherwise in the description, vintage electrical items
are sold in their original condition so should be safety checked by an
electrician before use.
